    Default A tribute to John Lennon

    On the 8th December it will be the 30th year anniversary of John Lennon's death, and on the 9th October, would have been his 70th birthday.

    he was well past his best when he died and not half the talent mc cartney was...this according to some gobshite on newstalk yesterday..any thoughts from ppl that followed them?

    I think they are talented in their own special ways. After splitting from the Beatles in 1969, MacCartney created an album called 'Ram'; this was unique because he recorded himself playing every instrument for each song and merged the sounds together to create a complete track. Genuis! This album actually ended up topping 'Let it Be' at number one at the time.
