I thought the German stuff was stronger than the usual stuff? Furstzenberg and Kronenberg etc? I thought it was alcohol itself caused the hangover and not chemicals in it?

    Sincerely,

Failing that, the usuals coffe/tea. loads of water (dehydration) and food like bread etc, helps soak up everything.

Some neurofen plus usually does the trick too codeine and all that

After drinking always heve some water, always lessens your hangover next day
Actually more drink really works very well. A week or so ago I had a monster hangover which lasted well into the afternoon/early evening. It was only when I got a beer inside of me that I felt human again.

You can't beat them, specially the wheat beers such as Erdinger, Franziskaner, Weihenstephaner etc......but drink enough and you'll know all about it. Also stay away from sweet wines with a high sugar content.......that cheap rubbish is only good for a massive headache.

I used to think this too but when I lived in Germany I found out (I don't know if this is specific to the area I lived in or not) that German law states that only 5 elements can be used in the production of German beer. I found I got pissed easier but didn't suffer the same hangovers that I got here. I can only imagine that it's the extra additives that cause the massive headaches.

Oh, that would be right then. Two mojitos, two whisky dry, a bottle of white wine and then baileys. I am entirely unrepentant however, I had a jolly good time scandalising Derry. Tres bon. Thank you Derry, I shall return.

Im nursing a hangover right now. I always drink a Berrocca before I drink and a glass of water before I head to bed, you'll probably still get a hangover but it shouldnt be that bad. Milk Thistle is also great before drinking

Ah, but then you need to know that you are getting drunk beforehand. In this case I had not a clue until I woke up...

P.s and have you seen what water does to the bottom of boats? Jeez, don't drink it.
