Ok have read this thread through and have taken on board all views. It seems to me to be the battle of the timewasters versus the double bookers. The punter Vs the escort.

In my experience I have very rarely been subjected to the double book syndrome. Why is this? Is it because when I call an escort I have full intent to visit her and this probably is conveyed down the telephone line. Is it because I call again 30 mins before I arrive to confirm and again as I am about to arrive. At all times I like to ensure the escort knows I am legit. I have never experienced a situation where I was doubled booked and I’m doing this for a while now. So the argument that many girls double book does not wash with me so long as you, the punter, follow these essential yet obvious steps coming up to a booking. I would further add that usually these steps are only required when meeting an escort for the first time as for repeat visits the escort herself can have the reassurance that you will arrive when you say.

I know for a fact, and I welcome any girls reading this to dispute, that most escorts may receive a call from a potential punter every 5 or 10 minutes. Most times they have to contend with yobos asking ‘how much’ or ‘do ya do xxx’ etc. without even the courtesy to say hello how are you. Imagine in one hour you receive 10 calls all suggesting interest with the promise of a call back close to the appointment time, it takes the experienced girl to work out who is legit and who is not. We tend to have a lot of rude disrespectful fellow Irishmen here and I feel the escorts put up with a lot of shite in fairness.

So I am championing the escorts here and am suggesting that we are at fault for being rude and timewasters. The girls as far as I can see do their best to accommodate us. No escort deliberately double books. A bit of respectful phone manner will guarantee you the visit time of you choice.

It is down to common courtesy. As simple as that. Problem solved on both sides.

I think what James is saying is that it's not that the ladies intentionally double-book when they believe that 2 different callers are BOTH going to be legitimate punters, it's that they (usually) can tell the messers from the genuine guys over the phone, and just go along with the lads they believe to be messers, assuming that they won't actually show-up, but the genuine punter will.

Now it goes without saying that obviously, sometimes they get it wrong, and someone they took for being a messer is actually a genuine punter, and DOES show up for the meeting, and thus the lady has double-booked-- but James was arguing that it typically is NOT the direct intention of the escort to double-book, only the result of their own judgment about who they think will aactually show-up and those who are just messers.

So it does happen, but I'm also inclined to believe that most ladies don't double book for punters that they believe to be genuine and intend to honour the appoinment.
