i havent had a drink for 3 years 1 month 17 days so far but i'm an alcoholic.
i think some of you are missing something.....there are many diffrent types of alcoholic.
i'm the type that wont drink for months but when i do start i can dissappear for weeks at a time and when i do sober up i find my pockets empty bank account empty and cards all maxed out.
then not think about drink for months again.
this is my longest dry so far.....fingers crossed.

sounds like you are doing well i hope you manage to stay off it for good i have a good friend thats exactly the same as you have just mentioned......he also break's out big time and drinks everything he has got ....keep it up my fingers are crossed for you also ..take care

Most Mondays I go into work locked, play football matches on a Sunday either still drunk or hanging (depending on the time). Last year I gave it up for 6 months for a bet. Pubs are sooo boring when your not drinking! I've a good life though, I enjoy myself and still have a few years until I self destruct. So fuck it! Rock on!

Hands up me too. I go to the pub 5 times a week and have on average 4 pints. I never really get lock but I feel something is missing if I don't pay me local a visit.
