They could only have been the wrong type of grapes. I'm eating grapes right now and I already had 500grams this morning and will eat at least 2kg today.

If the grapes aren't fresh, like the ones in small shops are sometimes, I don't like them sometimes either. And if I pushed myself to eat them when they didn't taste right (even though I never would).

But good, fresh grapes would NEVER make you sick. I've eaten nothing but grapes for days at a time.

Every time you drink wine, you would do far better to eat grapes and they would be a lot better for you and should make you feel better as well. They contain resveratrol which is thought may slow the fundamental forces of aging. They are loaded with antioxidants. They have zero cholesterol and clear plaque and clogged arteries, anti-inflammatory. They really are the best food ever.
