Default Should energy drinks like Red Bull be banned?

After drinking several of these per day at times and staying off at times i have to say they are dangerous and addictive and can cause severe dehydration.

    they should be banned,

I honestly think that there is more in these drinks that is claimed on the label and i am talking about stuff in them thats not on the label. This does go on.

Years ago in the US a doc came out with a protein supplement called MetRX. Everyone that took it gained well but then it was taken off the shelves and was rumored to contain steroids which caused the gains. It came back out and was never the same again.I think its still around but no big gains like the early days.

I think these energy drinks are the same,

I agree because its hard enough trying to understand what a Cork man is saying at the best of times but it would be basically impossible to understand what he’s saying after 5 or more tins of Red Bull.

    Default Ban enery drinks?!

GTFO! I dont care how unhealthy they are, i love them. Ban cigarettes and alcohol first and then we will see about energy drinks.

not the best for drinking with vodka
brings on a really bad ass hang over in the morning

I wouldn't like to see Red Bull banned, i drink 1 or else 2 of them on a normal day, i had 1 at 10am today and had another at about 7 or 8pm this evening, in the last few years i can safely say that i have not gone even 1 day without drinkin at least 1 can a day, usually its 1 can but sometimes 2, but i can take 3 or maybe 4 sometimes. If i'm away all day on a busy day i'll have about 4 or 5 sometimes. Yesterday in Tesco i bought 8 cans if Red Bull for only €6.79! A f*ckin bargain! When u consider that its over €2 for just 1 can. Centra are also selling 4 cans of red bull for only €4, but the 8 cans for under €7 was a better deal. Obviously they are both only special offers for a short while, a few days only.
I drink a bottle of lucozade (original) every day, in the morning time about 9 or 10am, and down a can of red bull shortly after. I think Red Bull on its own is better than coffee, but also like coffee, both should be taken in moderation, and i know that i'm addicted to it now but it doesn't bother me. I think its ok if people are under pressure or want it to give them a boost for something then they should take it, but take it about an hour before u do anything. (bit like viagra haha). But i think its ok.
