One of the worst atrocities this world has ever witnessed,hopefully the sheer impact that this caused will stop nuclear warfare but i would have my doubts........

Nuclear Warfare is useless to anyone because the aftermath of it would be felt all over the world and cause permanent changes in the quality of life on earth.

Dropping the atomic bomb on Japan had nothing whatsoever to do with saving American lives that’s the propaganda there, they did it because they wanted to see what the real effects would have been by setting off the real thing and because they wanted to send out a message to the Soviets at the time because they could see relations with Stalin was going down the toilet at the end of WW2.

Yep but it did save a lot of American lives as Japan is an island and alot of lives would have being lost. The real reason though is Pearl Harbour. The Americans just wanted revenge plain and simple. Pretty much like Saddam. they just wanted him out no matter what.

All it takes is for someone like good ol Kim Jong il to get his hands on one for things to get interesting West. I'm sure the Americans or Chinese will have shot him by then hopefully.

Also....I wonder if they would have used the bomb if Franklin Roosevelt hadn't died? Would he be remembered so fondly if he allowed it? Doubt it.....

Watched documentary tonight about it riveting stuff in fairness. But curious why America sent ambassador to japan was remembrance ceremony (like a kick in teeth).but then why are the americans letting a mosque be built on the site of 911 tragedy.

Probably because they felt it was time to send a representative, the Germans (Merkel) went to Israel a few years ago. America is made up of immigrants who encompass many faiths, Muslims were also in the buildings also, so why should they not have a mosque..?
