Where Benin got his name and avatar from
In 1964, Major Bernard J Tomilson had retired from the Special Air Services following a distinquished career with Her Majesty's Armed Services, however a revolution broke out in the colony of Benin soon after his retirement.
It was one where the mice in that former French colony overran the milk rich territory which was controlled by the cats.
Major Tomilson, as a retired miltary attaché to Benin could not stand by. He organised a cat militia which duely took control of the colony. The revoultion was overturned and the cats regained power.
In recognition of Major Tomilson's achievements, he was awarded the Sniper Cat Avatar, the most distinguished awared in the feline kingdom.
