Perhaps in common usage, the word 'pimp' is more commonly used as a synonym for a guy being a stud or ladies' man; I must admit to teasing a good mate that does very well with the ladies by telling him he's a 'pimp'.


But using that word here on the E-I boards is something else altogether. Since this is a forum which is intended to be a medium in which discussions about escorting and the punters who make use of their services are meant to be able to talk about issues pertaining in some way to that subject, to openly accuse, imply, or directly call someone else a 'pimp' has very serious connotations to it, and can be taken to be a slanderous attack against someone else.

It seems that Captain Jack has taken this accusation/implication very seriously and very personally, and I hope he makes the decision to come back. I just hope that either way, the people who have made this happen will understand the seriousness of the attack they have made against Jack Sparrow, and hopefully will apologize for it.
