Yes he posed as a client, i watched him come in, took his time to get up here and the next thing i knew there were 8 of them at the door. I really do think its because of race week and all the media attention as i have never had an issue in galway before.

Police are idiots. How many of the E-I girls in Galway this week are forced to be there? Did the cops ask any of the girls this question, or enquire about any safety issues they might be having, or was it just bullying and threats? Why don't the cops continue this crusade every week if they're so committed to upholding the law?

Or could just it be a media/PR exercise while the spotlight is on them during Race Week?

when the races come to galway the number of escorts increase also as they is a lot of money to be made, i have spoken to escorts who could make up to 2,000 per day, with the increase in escorts it makes the headlines in the local papers so the garda are forced to do something about it, they make pr raids to satisfy the papers.
As a regular punter in galway i would not visit an esocrt this week as the girls rush you in and out as business is so busy but also it is too dangerous with the garda around, two years ago at the begiinning of race week there were 65 girls working at the end of the week there was only 4 left, the guards had run them all out of town

That seems to be what's happening again. Normally Galway might have 40+ escorts.......and during race week it goes up to 70+. The fact that the 8 guards who visited those two ladies working as a duo did'nt arrest them but told them that things would be more serious if they had to return, suggests that the gardai are simply operating an intimedation exercise to get as many escorts as possible to up sticks and move elsewhere. They can then state to the good burghers of Galway that they drove so many prostitutes out of town. But if arrests are not being made or escorts being charged, then it's hardly a serious attempt to stop prostitution.....it's a P.R. exercise.
