I have a friend who is an electrician . He has told me that over the past 2 yrs his nixer work has dried up ( mine has totally disappeared too ). He used to do shower installation , re wiring etc and the people who gave him this work were mainly people in the public service , not the lower paid workers . We had a few beers last week and this subject came up . And he is very worried that if the public service are gonna be targeted again and again , that he'll be up shit creek with no paddle sooner than later . So if any of you are tradesmen , like my friend and i , maybe you should think differently and support the public sector and not bash them like there's no tomorrow .
