untrue mr west - i am simply making a request for topics to be kept closer to the point - I have made no request for stricter modding or a joke blackout - i have merely appealed to posters to police themselves or at least tone down the ramblings or cute pictures or to rasie a new thread themselves and have fun with that- hardly over the top is it ?

I am of the considered opinion that there is a bit too much childishness about.

Whats the point in posting a topic if it gets totally hijacked by lame jokes - silly pictures and obvious sexual innuendo ad infinitum.

Quite a lot of posts should be kept to PM's when they become a conversation between 2 posters and really of little or no interest to the rest of us. Should a thread develop into a different topic/ or become a series of humourous anecdotes etc. then maybe a new thread should be raised altogether.

I think a joke is OK here and there and de rigeur in the Soap Opera section but not at the total expense of making the initial topic irrelevant or forgotten.

Just to ensure that nobody forgets my original point I am posting the opening post again- hardly an extremist outburst methinks....

i can remember when this site did not have mods and one of the points of having mods was to help keep threads on topic then the soap opera section was set up so it could all go on in there and leave the rest to on topic posting now it looks like some of the mods are as guilty as the rest of us for going off topic.

i thread going off topic is one thing and i do agree that clients and escorts and people in general do turn a thread into a conversation between two that really should be done by pm but if a thread dose go off topic and gets a bit of fun going where is the harm in that ....i would be more concerned when a thread becomes nasty and bullying starts and personal shit starts getting throwing about and thats the kind of trouble that makes folk stop posting in case they are attacked ......at the end of the day we are all guily of going of topic i never though it a real problem

im more guilty of going off topic than most/all here but i am never trying to hijack a thread just have a bit of fun and maybe give others a laugh ...maybe im going ott if so im sorry...but im not into arguments anymore just a bit of fun
