So what are we to do? Unilaterally decide among mods to delete threads started by valid members about him or ask for mandate from the members?

Coz make no mistake he only sends these Pm's partly as he knows someone will create a thread about it and in that way get himself centre stage as he knows anything he posts will be deleted instantly.

So this is not a silly idea it is democracy in action and by the looks of it we have a mandate to soon begin deleting any ref to him on open forum regardless of who posts it.

But this poll isn't a mandate, it's an off the cuff ill conceived poll started as a knee jerk reaction to a post on another thread, I'm all for get a consensus from the members but at least do it right..

I said early on I will be seeing it as a consensus and mandate that's what it is. Are you saying now you want a second poll and give him "more" attention as that's what you were complaining about over this poll, not its reason but just its being posted.

No, what I am saying that if you must have a poll, which I still think is a terrible idea do it right, you already changed the title and as I suggested earlier on in this thread when only 3 people had voted, yourself and benin being 2 of them, you could have also altered the options to better highlight what you are proposing because as it stands people are just voting on ignoring him without the full ramifications being pointed out to them..

The alteration was from it being a ref to him being a wanker to one asking to vote, so those who already voted are not impacted on the title change.
