Interesting opinions. However, speaking ill of the dead aside, he was an alcoholic. A very ill, very misguided alcoholic. Its an illness, not a choice.

Idont think i did, talent is nothing if u cant handle it and make the most of it, and whats more its the ultimate insult to
people that arent fortunate enough to be blessed with talent to have to watch those that have fritter it away.
Just think of what alot of these people could have achieved

Hold on. If these people contracted a illness, you wouldn't say that. George Best and Alex Higgins were alcoholics, in as much as they had a choice I don't think anyone would 'choose' their ending. Who is to say what anyone could would or should have achieved? And who is to say that without that semi destructive streak they would have been the same people? Or the same talent? You can't. People are people..flawed to the end. I don't think anyone has the right to dismiss someone without walking a mile in their shoes.
