I think you will find that the result of that game was 2 -0 and it was an FA Cup game.
Of course United went on to pip Arsenal for the league that season(again) so all's well that ends well.

Ray Houghton's goal against England in Stuttgart in the Euro Championship in 1988. The 84 minutes after he scored seemed to take forever.
    YouTube - Gabriel Egan's Stuttgart 1988 Commentary
Eamon Coughlan winning the 5000m World Championship in 1983. The look on his face as he passed the guy on the final bend was brilliant.

Donegal when they won the All Ireland in 1992. It'll never happen again. Ireland in the 1990 World Cup. The invincible Arsenal team of 2003/04. Alot of boxing from the past Barry McGuigan, Tyson, Benn and Eubank.
Help Keyla in her fight with cancer. Every little helps.
It could happen to any of us.

When I'm looking for a bit of inspiration I switch on Roberto Duran vs Iran Barkley......wonderful stuff!

Westie's right about Tyson.....has there ever being another sportsman to generate as much excitment and anticipation before they perform? I don't think so.....not even Ali I would say. I have his career set and there isn't a boring fight from start to finish.

I'm also going to throw out Federer v Nadal at Wimbledon 2008. I'm not a tennis fan but that was epic!

I used often love staying up or coming in from town to watch the Mike Tyson fights. All 2 mins of most of them. I never forget the Irish reams World cup exploitsunder Jack Charlton and i dont think they will be repeated for a long time.

    Sincerely,
    Westside.
I travelled to the USA in 1994 when Ireland played in the World Cup.The atmosphere in the Giants Stadium before during and after the game against Italy was just electric and is something I will never forget.
    The Truth is out there.
