I used to play the Flute when i was in high school, we all had instruments and teacher gave me a flute even though i wanted a big sax..grrr....however i did become very good at playing it

Getting back on topic though. You need dedication to play an instument. You need the desire to pick up the suitar and play. Having a guitar stand like this helps

Now if that was my guitar stand i'd defo play all day and all night long I played quite a few instruments when i was at school , and i'm a determined wee bugger.Never fail at anything i put my mind too.
