Back in the day, I started off playing Oasis songs (from 'What's the Story Morning Glory' and 'Definately Maybe'). These songs are ideal for beginners as they follow very simply chord patterns.

As I've got older, I'm more of a Beatles man and prefer to listen to/play Rock, Rock n' Roll and Rhythm and Blues!

So we have doozer westie and sam, all play guitar and all mods that patcave must be rocking with a jamming session

Haha! The Beatles did have simple chords, but wait till you get to the Magical Mystery Tour album; when Epstein (their manager) died, it was all drugs and weird chords from then on!

You get a lot out of learning an instrument the more hours you put in...its all about desire.
