its an option where you can chat with just one person...nobody else can see what you type

Thats what they are you can have a private conversation with someone without others seeing it.

Click on whoever you want to talk with and a box with extra options will appear,choose private message and there you go...you have to do this everytime you want tosend a private message though.

its not a thick question...we all had to learn at some stage...yes click on there name and chose whisper...or you can open a private channel with the user...pop in to chat now ill explain all..
