Sometimes, i think for the man it is the taboo of it, as its not the norm for allot of people. Also it can be tighter than standard sex too and can be enhanced pleasure for the man.

It's really up to the woman concerned as others have said; the big issue is the lube situation. Vaginal sex creates a natural lube scenario and doesn’t usually cause discomfort. Anal on the other hand has to be handled with tenderness and care and unfortunately a lot of men seem to normally consider it in the same terms as vaginal (ie) wham bam, thank you mam.
It is when done correctly awesome, and a fantastic experience, but it as I said takes time, so maybe that's why a lot of girls opt out. Half hour appointments I don't think would be sufficient to allow for this.
