O I forgot, do not sign anything unless you have fully read it and understood the implications..
And whats the implications of saying you were paying a woman to have sex
Give them a story they can't disprove, and then stick to it. If you have time then try to coordinate your story with the escort. It doesn't really matter much whether they believe you, as long as they can't prove anything. Sure if you're fifty and she's twenty you'll feel like an idiot telling them you met in the hotel bar and fell for each other instantly. But if you both give that story it's not really possible for them to prove it didn't happen. It will help if you have time at least to exchange first names before they burst in.
Don't say you paid for sex. That's bad for you and bad for the lady. Bad for you because you become a potential witness. Bad for her because she's likely to be deported.
“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.
Once she is an independant there is no problem saying you were paying for her companionship, you got her number from a mate, don't say anything about seeing an ad which could be turned into an arguement she was soliciting which is illegal, but if there is another lady in the apartment it's a brothel and they can force you to be a witness for the prosecution against her..
How about,
Name and address as required by law to give them.
Ask if you have broken any law. If so then which one.
Ask if you are been arrested.
Give NO explaination about ANYTHING.
Advise them to talk to your solicitor if they have any further questions.Have the name of a good criminal law firm,e.g. ***removed*** and Co (who are the largest) in your head.
You have the right to remain silent, but anything you say will be taken down and may be given in evidence against you etc etc

I still wouldn't do it. For one thing, do I really know who is an EU national? For example, many "Spanish" or "Portuguese" escorts are really from South America. For another, EU states can deport EU citizens who haven't broken any laws. The "free movement" provisions of the Rome Treaty are "subject to limitations justified on grounds of public policy, public security or public health". It's easy to see how those exceptions could be used to deport someone engaged in prostitution. I don't know if the Irish authorities are doing that, but it wouldn't surprise me. I think it's better just not to admit paying for sex. After all, how could they possibly prove it?
