I wouldn't say "Spain march on", more like "Spain hobbles on" or "Spain meanders on" or even "Spain limps on", but not march on.

The time for excuses are finished for Spain. The first game against Switzerland... what a disaster. You might have excused that, okay every team can get unlucky and slip up, maybe they were conserving themselves a bit. Against Chile they were playing against ten men for much of the match, they HAD to win it to be sure of progressing, a draw would get them second in the group, and yet they only won 2-1!!!! Against Portugal they were only just lucky on a lot of occasions, and against Paraguay... well they deserved to win, but just about... Paraguay had a lot of superb chances to actually win the game.

To me Spain don't look like world champions, they've not hit top gear and I don't think they will. They still don't know how to attack and they're in the semi finals. Germany on the other hand have a clear game plan, well organized, players who really understand each other very well. The same with Netherlands.

It was the right result in the end. It would have been a shame if Spain lost after disallowing that penalty. Yet another reereeing blunder. France were like Spain are now in 98 winning narrowly. It'll be a tough game against the Germans but I fancy Spain with the quality players they have. Their no mugs. hey win the European Championship and alot of them play for the great Barcelona team. Villa is one of the best strikers in the world. It's a pity he's not in the premiership. I thought when Torres when on form is one of the best but Villa is a class above. If Torres is going to move it will be to Barcelona.
Help Keyla in her fight with cancer. Every little helps.
It could happen to any of us.

I agree. On teh Spanish preformances so far I would have to back the Germans.

Itll be a German and Dutch final and hopefully the Dutch will it as they deserve to win something at long last.

As for Paruguay and Spain if those bloody teams had scored teh pennos I would be a lot richer now.

I cant see Spain beating the efficiant German football machaine.

Spain have a problem scoring goals. Ok Villa has five now but if you look at the results so far their biggest win was 2-0 against Honduras. The only good team they played was Portugal , whi tehmselves have problems and barely qualified for the World Cup while the Germans with their last 2 games have scored 8.

the germans have not played a good organised team yet they have not been tested, they came in to the world cup an ordinary team they have shown they can play however i think spain will have 2 much for them.

Forgetting about the shambles that are England Argentina came into the World Cup as one of the favourites and they were demolished by the Germans. Spain, with Torres misfiring is a disaster and I am surprised the are underachieving. Spain have class players both in midfield and up front. Iker isnt half bad either (for a small fella) but they havent impressed at all.

Germany without Ballack have shone with Muller Ozeil and Kheirdre out shining most and will surely be players to look out for in the future.

Again Spain have not come up against decent teams either and have still struggled to get where they are after bearing mediocer teams and loosing to the Swiss.

Spain may have won the Euros but then again so did Greece

argentina came in to the world cup having barly qualified,i liked watching them play but be honest had you any faith in maradonna as a manager? i wanted him to do well but always doubted if he could. i dont think germany are as good as the last 2 results suggest and i think spain are like typical german teams in the past in that they are doing enough to get through every round...awful to watch but getting there as for torres he has been a shadow of what he could be...it has been a bad world cup for the stars of football....kaka,ronaldo,rooney,messi and i could go on.

I know Aargentina barely qualified for the World Cup. They may have had a bad qualifying run but they made it there. Maradona , brilliant footballer crap manager I agree, leaving Cambiasso and Zeneti out. But they still played good football and were considered to be one of the favorites. Spain wont get passed teh Semies. Unlike Torres Klose is prolific at this World Cup as is Villa, but It is only Villa who will score for Spain. (Xavi or Inestie might grab 1 goal in the tournament ) While the Germans have scorers across the board.

You are right in saying its not a World Cup for the starts, but for the fledlings it is their World Cup

Another refereeing blunder. He ordered Alonsos penalty to be retaken because the players encroached into the D yet ignored the fact that exactly the same thing happened on the second kick and also for Paraguays penalty. Also Fabregas was clearly taken down in the area but no penalty was given. The standard of refereeing in this World Cup with a few exceptions has been terrible.
    The Truth is out there.

I agree. Too many poor decisions by bteh refs in this tournament.
The ref last night was from Guatamala teh one for the German Argie game was form the Seychelles. Both power houses of World Football.

For important matches like these they should have known and well capable refs
