what i know about this debilitating illness:

    everyone creates their own/unique depression.
it is natural, a response, some say it's a healing process.
the modern world is very unnatural and can be emotionly perilous.
'accept' your depression like you will accept joy once again.

"when we accept that we are forever bound to sorrow and pain-only then can
    we be truly happy"

make time for yourself first-only then can you help others.

Its not an illness. Its a state of mind and nothing more than that. The medical community like to make even the simplest of things scientific. The fact of the matter is a person can beat depression in the space of a few days because there is no such thing outside of your own mind,as depression.

i dont get it because i dont believe in it,

Be careful with this one. It can also be a cause of depression and when goals and aims are unfulfilled it very often is...........

I'm sorry Westie but this is 100% incorrect. It is an illness and is not just a state of mind...........

I think you'll find that it is infact a science..............

And depression can hardly be described as the simplest of things..........

Again this is incorrect. Depression cannot just be beaten in a few days.........

Sorry buddy, it doesn't work like that. You might want to have a close look at yourself. Seriously, this is denial..........

The plural in goals here is the key. When a person acheives a goal the set a new one. Have different goals in different things. The best thing about is you can set a goal for anything really.

set them out of reach but not out of sight,

Well to come along and say that i am bad because i gave an honest opinion of something is bs. All of my posts on here are honest and all of them are fact. By the way if depression existed outside of a persons mind it would have being cured. It doesnt exist outside of a persons mind and there is nothign wrong with a person who suffers from it either, only an accumlation of the wrong thoughts which are registered back as feelings hence there is soemthing wrong somewhere.

    not true,
    Westside.

this statement from that link was enough for me to stop reading.

Depression is an illness of the mind, which is affected by our environment, thoughts and even our body.

    Id change that to,

Depression is an emotional response to the wrong thoughts independent of our environment.
