Donald Trump is now a convicted felon, yet he can still run for the Presidency, if nominated 4 days after his sentencing. YET, a convicted felon of any status is NOT allowed to vote!!! I despair.

Do you despair because he was convicted, because a felon can run for president, or because a felon can't vote for president? Or is it all 3?!
I certainly find it incredible it made it all the way to conviction - it was not only an obviously political prosecution, but it was just about the flimsiest case I've ever seen!

That is not what he was convicted for, the falsifying records charge is a misdemeanour (the Stormy Daniels case is old news, why no prosecution before?) so they had to try and link it to one of 3 crimes - the furtherance of another crime, conspiracy to promote or prevent an election. Their star witness was convicted perjurer Michael Cohen, who clearly has an axe to grind with Trump. And to top it off, the judge said the jury could be considered unanimous if they felt he was guilty of any of the 3 linked crimes, so there may well be significant differences of opinion in that jury yet it is considered unanimous?! Crazy! If ever a case had reasonable doubt, it is this one!
It is clearly an attempt to get him disqualified or removed in some way from the election, but it will backfire tremendously! His support and donations will skyrocket after this!
