    When he was 16 he was part of a duo with Marty Friedman of Megadeth fame in Cacophony and released a pair of the most insanely creative guitar instrumental albums ever stamped into vinyl.
    When he was 18 he released his first and only 'completely' solo album.
    When he was 20, months after replacing Steve Vai as main axeman in the prestigious David Lee Roth solo project, he found out he had Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS).

    This is what he did when he was 18.
    We may never see a talent like him again.
