And it couldn't happen to a nicer team.
Though we are not now that strength which in old days moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are; one equal temper of heroic hearts, made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

I think we would have showed a bit more passion and pride than the french have shown tonight.

France decide to train today but it looks like they will be on the plane tomorrow,we would have at least tried to make some effort out there.

    Au revoir. Little correction.
I dont blame the French team to be honest.
If someone is interested by a fair and good article this is a fair one for change.

    C’est la lutte finale ? - Trompe le Monde - Blog LeMonde.fr

But u have to use google translate. Very good article for who u fully understand french.
I dont read L equipe and all the chitty tabloid about the french team because not only they are crap and lots of nastiness when no needed.

I think they did try, it just didn't work for them, they couldn't do it. Unless there are obvious times players don't chase after the ball or do things right, I don't buy into the idea of trying or not trying. If those had been green/Irish shirts I'm sure a lot of people would be saying "they put their heart and soul into it, but it just wasn't to be", "tired legs did all they could" etc.

Bloody French, thank God there are out, the cheating bastartds. Ireland would never cheat like that. Ok so against Georgia when we were loosing 1 nil and we got a mysterious peno that we converted and ended up winning the game, but thats not the same is it, anyway thank God they are gone now, can watch the world cup without being reminded of their cheating exploits
