    Default Bloody Sunday Report

Anyone else waiting on this? 38 years, it's a long time ago, but the report is meant to be published this afternoon.

Probably only those who lost family or friends - perhaps now they can have closure.

I didn't have any friends or family caught up in this event, but for me it's an important event in our history.

This is going to be a very upsetting report... I dont know anyone involved directly either.. but any one of us could have been there on that day.. or at least some of our parents... And they wonder why we always cheer against the English in the WC..

Even if there are prosecutions, which I think is very unlikely, justice delayed is justice denied.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

Well I hope the families get some comfort from this report. Nothing will take the pain away, but so much injustice and lying after what happened can only have caused more hurt.

The inquiry into Bloody Sunday has found the killing of civilians by members of the British army was "unjustified and unjustifiable"...

It's on Sky News etc now.

Heard Cameron's speech. I think he should have given the apology without then going on to talk about the broader issue of problems in Northern Ireland over the last 40 years and that there has been fault on both sides. It took away from the apology for me some that he didn't stay on topic and leave it at acknowledging the wrongdoing on and surrounding Bloody Sunday.

There are many points of view, all are valid. I seen Britain suffer greatly from terrorism on its shores.
I believe 'they' would far rather have given over the 32 counties back in the twenties. What have they gained?
