All mobile calls log the phone that the call is made on aswell as the number, and if your phone is a registered bill phone or a registered Pay as you go, well then you might as well make the call and not bother swapping sims.. All very unlikely as I said but foe a few euro you have piece of mind...

The only real threat using your own phone would be an escort phoning you up, touting for business, it happened to me twice, one time she said, "honey when are you coming to see me again", I shit myself and ever since then, I've had my phone on silent. I've just got a new phone now and my family cant quite understand why I also got a new number. I have my old phone stashed away with 18 euro credit, I shall only use it for punting, I do realise that it's still registered in my name, but I'm keeping my new number clean. I know that 99% of escorts are too professional to do that, but as I've said, it's happened to me twice.
    Once a prick - always a prick.

Now I'm going into off the wall territory but it must be 2-3 months ago since I bought credit for my punting sim, not like I use it every day, or every week for that matter so chances the shop I bought it has video footage of me buying it yet alone 3 months worth of recordings is very unlikely! God I love conspiracy theories, there're never ending LOL

i have a punting sim, but most of the time as i am single i use my own phone as i dont have anyone to hide from!

but if you are in a relationship or married, then its a defo punting sim you must use, deffo not your own phone!

wasnt there a post on here last year, when a married man was punting and using hes own phone to punt, hes wifes phone was broke so she was using hes phone to keep in contact with her husband, he had a regular escort he use to see and she was away on hols, but she came back to ireland and phoned her client, ie the wifes, husband just to let him now that she was back in town but obviously the wife had the phone, she found out what he was upto and he lost everything!

so married and guys in a relationship, get yourself a punting phone not just sim, because some times when you just change the sim sometimes the txts and calls can stay in the phones memories and you could get caught that way!

If I got a phone call saying "Hi. I'm Guido the Pimp. I know you see escorts." then I would tell him "Congratulations. Now fuck off."
I fail to see how this is a problem.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

How do you tell that to a Garda that turns up on your doorstep asking questions about a major criminal gang that has been linked to a location you visited this lady at, we had it under surveillance and we have you entering and leaving the premises he tells you along with your call records, we need you to be a witness??

Excuse me, but you're implying there that I would not want to help to nail a major criminal gang. Do you have any basis for that belief?

Gordo, I have noticed you take things quite literally when people refer to your posts, you will have to stop being so over protective of yourself, I quoted you becasue you repleied to one half of my point but I gave you an example of the second scenario, I didn't mean you literally wouldn't but in general guys wouldn't want that happening. Like I said it would be difficult for most to get involved unless it was something very serious or as I said they could pass on any relevent information they may have on there own terms rather than the Gardai turning up on their doorstep..

it seems a fairly far feched scenario all the same i think you would agree the chances of the gardai turning up at your doorstep are pretty slim...even if the case were to happen i would imagine if the cops had your phone number they would contact you using that to avoid any fuss...but i cant see that being a regular thing either
