Hi,

We have had a Polish translator working for us recently and he is using the word "prostytutki" as a translation of "escorts". I presume this directly translates as prostitutes.

Can I ask, is this offensive?

In Ireland, we tend to say "escort" or "sex worker" rather than "prostitute". In Poland, is this the same or are Polish escorts quite happy to be called "prostytutki"?

Thanks
