I have to say that I never negotiate prices, if Ask is the price I ask, but again I agree the price offered. I am always clean, respectful, patient and whilst fussy...also tolerant and into trying to make the experience good for both of us. i totally agree with you i quite often brought gifts like you mentioned and it dose make a much better scene ....but its a real kick in the bollocks when you bring a nice wine and the lady just takes it and dosen't even say thanks this happend to me once

I think the source of the problem is the recession. No matter what business u are in, be it escorting, retail, construction, etc., it has become a cut throat market. There is less spare cash floating about but people still want the lifestyle. I know myself for one have found that I've had to cut back a lot especially on the escort front. I would love it if rates dropped to £50/hr but it ain't gonna happen coz nothing is dropping in any market. People need to be more patient and understanding, see things from both perspectives and start the love again.

This thread has been meandering on for a while now.

FACT: Escorts are providing a full half-hour service for as low as €80, and some of them are as good as anyone charging almost twice the price.

FACT: Escorts have control over what they charge, but punters have control over what they pay.

In THEORY, "you get what you pay for", so a higher-priced escort should float your boat better? Currently I find that this is NOT the case, and that paying a bit more doesn't guarantee a better punt. Some of my best experiences recently have been €100 or lower, and I can't remember the last time I paid `€150 for a half-hour punt.

A very attractive escort wil probably feel that she can charge more, and if she's getting enough punters, that's fine. But an awful lot of girls have reduced their prices significantly over the past year, so business must be tough. Seems to me that girls who are still charging €150 or more for half an hour will be waiting by the phone that bit more than those who have spotted the market reality.

I think that the prices that any escort charges are probably governed by 4 factors:

1. What she thinks she is worth.
2. The particular market (supply and demand).
3. Earnings expectations (lower price/higher demand versus higher price/lower demand).
4. Level of overheads.

I also lived in London for over 10 years, the rates were around £60 for a full service for 30 minutes, if you had less in your pocket, you could get everything apart from sex for a nice price indeed.You could easily get a 2 girl for £110 and I once had 2 for £60, happy days.
Since coming to Ireland, I cringe at the prices asked, if the prices were lowered a bit more ,I would have no problem paying more often.
