Just got the result now. 4-0 drubbing ha ha, spurs in the Champions League. They wont make it out of the group stage. If Ferguson buys a new striker, (stay away from the Swede Fergie, you know who) A keeper a decent midfielder and a winger they could well win the thing
Just not at maths EX P
I'm glad City didn't win last night. It's surprising. They were at home and were on 70k a man to get into the champions league. I suppose money means nothing now as the likes of Adebayor are getting 170k a week.
Spurs won't make it out of the group stage. The chamipons league is different class of opponent than in the premiership. I think it's an exaggeration what sky was saying last night that that game was worth 60m. I just saw today that Utd got 13m and Arsenal got 9 m last season. I don't know where they got that exaggerated figure from.
I just hope the fuckers don't get third place now ahead of Arsenal. Surely Fulham won't be playing like their lives depend on it against Arsenal with the Europa final coming up on Wednesday.
Help Keyla in her fight with cancer. Every little helps.
It could happen to any of us.

Shows how united are grasping at straws after a disastorous season, when city not making 4th is the highlight for them.It just shows how much
they fear that the resources city have may knock them from their lofty perch. Instead of basking in the glory of how Scholes is one of their top players
and offering him a 1 year extension at 35 ,shouldnt that ring a few alarm bells?

I didn't notice any post that stated that City not making 4th place was a highlight, just an observation that, even with all their money and expectations, they didn't manage to do so. As for a disastrous season for United, finishing in the top 2 for the umpteenth season despite all the injury problems, maybe you have a different interpretation of what disastrous means.

Well to answer ure first response all the man u fans are gloating that man city didnt make it,which means that u have three london teams there which is
hardly good for the game in a nationwide context, and do u expect me to believe that with only the Carling cup in the trophy cabinet that at board level
or management level the season is considered anything but a disaster. Knocked out of champions league at the earliest stage for years, the very
minimum required would have been the FA cup. A team has to be judged by the standards it sets itself and to end up with only a trophy that has been
looked upon by the club as run out for up and coming or bit players is not good enough. Wayne Rooney gave an interview today in one of the papers
and he admitted that they had fallen far short of what was required. Second place is where u want to be only if u want to see the arse of the fella in first
