I never have liked the review system. The bad reviews make me feel terrible and the goods ones make me blush... The rats are confusing as it makes clients think that I have put them up...
I was going to opt out of the review but everyone advised that I should not opt out. What is a girl to do? I enjoy my career and I try my best to please all of my clients...
    Thanks guys for ay advice

I have just read the review and was, initially, kinda surprised, as Feargal has always come across as a decent, reliable, poster.
However, I have read another of his negative/neutral reviews and would have to disagree with some of the comments made in that one.
Your reply to his review will be noted by most people and won't affect your future business.

At the end of the day teh trusted reviewer status is only an idea for a punter, they at the end of the day make their own decisons on who to see and they too are only human. They mighnt agree with everyones tastes

Personally I tend to ignore badges. I also read rebuttals to reviews. I take both reviews and rebuttals with a grain of salt. I'm not sure how typical that is. Maybe people who know less about the reviews system put more faith in it.

The two of you are referring to the new rules. As I understand it, there are exactly three 'trusted reviewers' who were given their badges according to those rules. The rest of us, including the person who wrote the review Liberty is referring to, were given our badges under the old system, which has never really been properly explained.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

you would have to talk to the old review guru then, the exiled NBT. As far as I know in the old regiem you had to be either A friends with him or B have a certain amount of reviews or posts to qualify

Is this similar to the old days when they gave out driving licenses because of the back log.
Can someone please explain the old system in lay mans terms and explain why some people with a trusted review badge have clearly been caught out in the past but still have their badge.

This is the reason i will never apply for the badge until the trusted reviewers can be trusted.

Liberty please come wicklow direction so i can take a closer look at your box.

Because infairness he wasn't banned for anything to do with the reviews. For the best part he did get it right as to who he choose to become a trusted reviewer but I agree, there are at least 1 that I don't agree with..

well to be honest i dont agree with a lot of the trusted reviewers he chose...i have no problem with nbt...but if you have to jump through 1000 hoops now it would seem silly you get the badge b4 if you were mates with him....the badge should show people the reviews they can trust...for me apart from a few its the opposite .....rant over
