take the euroline bus. it takes 15 hrs though, but one way is about £40 only..... If you do more searches, it pops up with a happy fair.... keep searching on it more times and you may get lucky.....

I've done the bus thing before, on two occasions. It works, and is simpler than the train, but if your meeting in London is of any importance then I suggest an overnight in London first, because you will feel, and look, like **** after that bus ride. Check hotel availability before you leave. Bon voyage.

I´ll be in London on Thursday.....trying to make my way back overland. I was planning to go by train, but not sure now with this ban on foot passengers. Anybody know if the ban is still in place and if so, what bus station in London does the Eurolines bus department from? I heard it was Victoria coach station.
