You definitely cannot go wrong with Metallica; I was fortunate to have seen them when they had their original basses, Clift Burton. Because my Aunts went to school with the Secuity at the concert hall where they played, I was able to get in free and get backstage passes and meet the band

Pearl Jam would also be good to go see, but I'm not that impress with John Mayer, he's got an 'asshole' tag on him, here in America
