thats just not true because it said that if even one mod dissagrees about someone getting a TR badge then a badge will not be given......unless the rules changed since the last time i read them.

I cant see the Mods refusing to give a badge just because one of them dont like you... if that was the case i would never have got one... there is one Mod in particular who i have had several "disagreements" with over the past year..

i just read the thrusted review critiera again a min ago and it does say that if even one mod member objects then a badge will not be awarded but you can reapply the next time round. so it does leave it open to being refused a badge because a mod dont like someone.

I'd say you're both right. There's no reason why a geniune punter shouldn't be able to get a trusted reviewer medal, but the mods are all different people, and it's not within the bounds of possibility that one of them would turn someone down out of spite. It doesn't seem to have happened in Epi's case, though, and good thing too - you're a decent skin for a grandad, Epi

That mod is not on the panel (if its the one I think you mean), its 3 that decide, no one else. We can give an opinion but its these 3 that decide or veto.

Well it shows that there is very little intrest from punters in applying using the current criteria. To get 3 new members after the issue
being debated and being high profile here for a couple of weeks is a really dismal return. Wonder how many will be had next time when
its not as topical
