Thread: Sad day for Poland today

    I was sad to see this on CNN just now. Seems like a fault with the engine or Pilot error due to the thick fog.

    Very sad indeed.......

    Reminds me of the plane carrying the Cal Poly Mustang football team thatcrashed and burned on takeoff in 1960 and the United Munich Plane crash in 1958.....

    It's going to be a very tearful time for all Polish people and my heart goes out to you all.

    Unhappy terrible tragedy

    Words can not express the sadness of this situation. My thoughts and prayers are with Poland and its wonderful people may they find strength and solace in this dark time...

    Yes today is very sad and weird day for ma and other Polish people....I hope it will make my nation stronger.....

    The Polish people have made a welcomed contribution to Irish society in the last few years. This is terrible news. Condolences.

    i have some polish friends and im so sorry for what happened but lets not kid ourselves..polish people earn money and either save it or send it back home
