I've been thinking about this for a while, I could just throw out names but I'd rather define them by cathegory, how can you compare sports people to revolutionary figures?
One of the most underrated people people I would have thought though is Rory Gallagher. When Jimi Hendrix was asked by an interviewer what it felt like to be the world's best guitarist he said to go ask Rory Gallagher. To be admired as the best as a person who was often and still is regarded as one of the best must be quite an achievement.
I'm pretty cool..ask your mates
JUSTICE FOR AMANDA KNOX AND RAFFAELE SOLLECITO----INNOCENTS
colin farrell .. because he shagged britney spears and angelina jolie , something no other irish man could have ever done.
paul mc grath.. because he was our best ever player despite being drunk everytime he pulled on the green shirt.
bertie ahern. he ruined our country and he can still go into any pub in ireland and never has to buy himself a pint , surely a sign of greatness?
just three quick ones that shows how certain irish men can be great without being great if you will
