Should badges be awarded? If so, how?

Unfortunately this has become too much of an issue about awards rather than a way to identify and mark as many genuine reviews as possible.

I would have no problem getting rid of all trusted reviewers, it is the trusted reviews that I want to hang on to.

Nice idea for the poll. It’s a good idea to test the waters instead of purely relying on the debating posts.

Just a question though. When the poll was first posted it said it was an open poll and users could see who had voted what way, no problem with that, at least it was posted up front so no one would be surprised. It’s just that before I voted I could see who had voted which way before me but now that function is disabled. I’m guessing it’s a function connected with the one ensuring we can only vote once.

Out of nothing much more than a combination of curiosity and nosiness I was wondering if it was possible to separate these functions to allow us to see the votes, or will it return once the poll is closed.

If it’s a technical problem or one that would compromise the integrity of the poll don’t worry about it, as I said just being nosy

There seems to be alot of debate about how badges were awarded before but i do remember at the time that NBT said in what was then
his remit as reviews mod when awarding badges he would contact some of the ladies the client had reviewed by pm to see if they could verify
they were genuine. Now as not that many ladies are reachable by pm this had its limitations but i think he worked a good bit with a few of the established girls Maybe why some were overlooked is that all clients d.ont see girls reachable by pm and was no point ringing them as he would have no way of proving who he was . I hope this clears up some confusion
