Completely agree Luther, but there were many many more who fought the system without violence. You also need to seperate the thugs from those who knew no other way. Its very easy to sit in the south in judgement from our safe democracy. I've worked with many catholics who were beaten up by the british army as students on the way home from a night out. catholic students, surprisingly enough. But they're northerners , so who gives a monkeys eh?
