Fine, but I think checking his references misses the point. No one denies that he has seen some of the escorts he reviewed. But even he admits that he hasn't seen all of them. So he won't have any trouble getting references. In fact, I'm sure he would have no trouble getting references even if he had seen none of the escorts he reviewed. Think about it. He has 84 reviews. 78 are positive. For many of these escorts his review is their only positive review from a "trusted reviewer". I'm sure there are at least three who would be willing to write a reference for someone they hadn't seen in order to keep those badged reviews.

The jury is not out. It returned a verdict. I don't see Anon as hungry for blood. It's just that it's misleading to call someone a "trusted reviewer" when most people do not, in fact, trust him.

Before someone accuses me of being out for blood, I want to make very clear that "trusted" and "genuine" are two different words which have different meanings. Saying that I don't trust someone's reviews is not the same as saying I think he is a fake.

JP. You write reviews and to what purpose. To help fellow punters or is it strictly self gratification. Do you want your reviews to be read by others? Do you want to have your reviews trusted by others? Therefore do you want to be a trusted reviewer?

Yes I want to see a system that reduces or removes all fake reviews. But I do not want to be a member of a list that was generated by a banned user using unknown criteria. I think all current badges should be revoked. Let them reapply like everyone else.

Otherwise let’s get with the program and let’s get a system that suits all rather than constantly bitching about the existing TRs.

Firstly If my memory was correct NBT was appointed by Patricia to be the review moderator and he would have come up with the badge idea in conjunction with the EI management.
Some threads here say he was a loon who threw badges at his friends.
I would contend he was doing a thankless job and the criteria he used was,
(1) Frequent Reviewers
(2) Frequent posters who came across as sane individuals, for example Forrest and Kerry lad in town it is quite obvious that these guys are genuine posters.
(3) He did the best job as he could do at the time with limited resources.

Now lets look at the new criteria to get a badge.

First of all it is open to both abuse by the mods and a potential badge candidate.

Let me explain one of the rules state that the candidate will be voted on by 3 mods but even if one Mod votes against it, it is rejected. Surely this is wrong. What you need is a majority of 2 mods even the supreme court goes on the majority of judges votes.

Secondly the references from an Escort is a nonsense. The guys review history and or posting history should be taken into account.
Also lets take a situation where I want 3 ladies to approve me, and I am not a member of good standing.
1st strategy I approach a lady that has no reviews and I say give me a very good seeing to and I will give you and excellent review(Or offer extra money this will work equally well). In return just write this note. I scan it attach it to my PM you phone the lady and she will confirm my review, why would'nt she else she is just going to hang herself.

All systems can be broken if you just put a bit of thought in.

1) I know a number of escorts quite well and they know everything about me. I do not want them to be able to connect me to my history on this forum nor do I want them to see the review that I wrote of them as it may not have been 100% positive.

If you write the review of a lady that you know quite well and don't want her to connect your real name and EI name, you are going to have to change details within your review - time & date etc. How can the escort validate your review if you put a time & date that she might not have been working.

I can kinda relate to what Adog is saying. I have a few girls I have seen numerous times and now have a mini relationship in so far as we can enjoy time together outside biznis hours. I have been quizzed on lets say a review given while we were on tour. "Why do you visit her when I am here" etc. Etc.. Now it's just in jest but sometimes there Can be an underlying jealousy ( albeit a financial one). It's too late to try and hide my identity now but I wish I had. I am amazed sometimes how escorts follow your reviews and demand to know why she got a better one than me. Actually on reflection this is my bigest problem - the review comparison syndrome. Heehee.
