Charles Leclerc seems to be managing his tyres and trying to run to the end.

Only one Monegasque driver has ever won here, and this was in 1931 when Louis Chiron won.

Red Flag a problem for both Mercedes and Max Verstappen. They started on the hard tyres, so since they need to make at one tyres change, they have changed to the mediums and they will not last to the end.
    Safety car would help.

George Russell's strategy involves going slow. He knows he cannot challenge the cars in front and is saving his tyres, but he is disadvantaging the cars behind.

Esteban Ocon has got a 10-second penalty for hitting his teammate at the start. Won't be able able to serve that because he retired. Has been converted to a five-place grid penalty for the Canadian Grand Prix. But his greater problem could be with his team that will not be impressed with him colliding with his teammate.

If the race finishes like this, Max Verstappen's lead in the championship will be reduced to 31 points

Still an unknown; will the four leaders on hard tyres be able to go without pitting?
