Will he get a ban for that? A few games or months?

Utd have held talks with Kieran McKennas people.
ETH is kinda fucked if he doesn’t win FA cup .

If proven, you have to think months, probably a bigger problem for West Ham was the anticipated 85 million fee they will miss out on. I would imagine that number was factored in to the squad restructuring budget this window. To replace that realistically they could only see Bowen or kudos for that smount

Does that seem a bit disrespectful to eth? Surely they could have waited a few days until the cup final was over and then make a decision on holding talks.

Probably is, a bit like West Ham and Moyes, in reality as a business it is prudent to be forward planning, being caught doing it in the public eye is not clever. I am sure all clubs, owners, managers and players know it is going on all the time

Could easily be looking at a ban there. Difficult to prove involvement but definitely convenient and suspicious

Obviously I am particularly interested in this. The FA apparently are referring it to an independent commission. The burden of proof is lower and can be based on probability rather than beyond a reasonable doubt. The thinking is that whilst it looks very very suspicious that might not be enough so it may be that they have something more concrete to go on. There is also a situation where bets were placed on paqueta and another Brazilian in Spain to get cards in the one bet that and it happened. You would think IF he has nothing to hide he will go legal himself. It is considered much more serious than the Toney and tonoli situation as he could effect the outcome of the bet himself. If proven there is the possibility of a lifetime ban which again ‘if proven’ you could not argue with for many reasons

According to sky the chelsea job is now between 4 people. De zerbi, kieran mc kenna, thomas frank and maresca. Who will get it and would they be daft to take it?
