The bottles are small, medium and large and range from €9 to €30. It will last a long time.

I always bring my own small bottle of Sticky Dates because I'm tired of seeing cheap Lynx and cheap Nivea on the shower stall.
Please! Not Lush! I have to up my pace to even walk past those stored the smell is so overpowering.
Are you sure it's not called "Stinky Dates" being from there?!?
Poor staff must all have anosmia.

I think we can do better than a 2,000 year old communal anal cleaning stick.

I wish bidets were common here , much more civilised. Or better yet, those Japanese toilets that wash and dry you.

I messaged Roger and he said that having a sticky thread separate factual only thread from this is a good idea.

He asked that providers have input and sign off on anything that is posted.

I made a template, if anyone wishes to change it and use it as a starting point they can.

    Pre-sex hygiene for males:

Shower thoroughly: Start by cleansing your entire body with soap and water. Pay attention to areas like armpits, groin, and feet, where sweat and bacteria tend to accumulate.

Clean your intimate areas: Use soap to cleanse the genital area, including the penis, scrotum, and anus. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.

Trim or shave if desired: Some people prefer to trim or shave their pubic hair for hygiene or aesthetic reasons. If you choose to do so, make sure to use proper grooming tools and techniques to avoid irritation or cuts.

Focus on odor control: Use deodorant or antiperspirant to keep body odor in check, especially in areas prone to sweating.

Oral hygiene: Brush your teeth and use mouthwash to ensure fresh breath. Flossing can also help remove food particles and prevent bad breath.

    Importance of cleaning intimate areas:

Prevents odor: Proper hygiene in the genital area helps prevent unpleasant odors caused by sweat and bacteria buildup.
Reduces risk of infection: Keeping the genital area clean reduces the risk of infections such as yeast infections, urinary tract infections, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Enhances comfort: Clean genitals feel more comfortable during sexual activity, promoting a more enjoyable experience for both partners.
Shows respect for partner: Taking care of personal hygiene demonstrates respect for your partner and their well-being, making the sexual encounter more enjoyable and satisfying for both parties.

He specified that providers should have final say on what's posted so if anyone wants to update it or change parts please do, you can then post it and he will sticky it.

I agree, it's just a template. If the providers wish to change it to anyway they want and then one of them post it it will get stickied.

That way when anyone reads the forum it'll be one of the first threads they see. May make a difference, may not but it won't hurt.

The Intimate Link between Hygiene and Sexual Health

    1. Preventing Infections is Sexy

Maintaining proper hygiene is like building a strong defense against unwanted guests, namely bacteria and infections. The intimate areas of our bodies are sensitive and susceptible to bacterial growth if not kept clean. Regular washing helps to prevent the buildup of bacteria, yeast, and other nasties that can lead to infections like urinary tract infections (UTIs), yeast infections, and even sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
    2. Confidence is Key

Let’s face it – when you feel clean and fresh, you exude confidence. Feeling confident about your own hygiene and knowing that your partner has taken similar precautions can create a more relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. This confidence can lead to better communication and a stronger emotional connection between partners.
    3. A Two-Way Street

Hygiene isn’t a solo act – it’s a partnership! Both you and your partner need to prioritize cleanliness for the best possible experience. Encourage open conversations about hygiene before getting intimate, and approach the topic with sensitivity and respect. Remember, it’s not about judgment; it’s about ensuring both of you are comfortable and safe.
    4. Basic Hygiene Etiquette

Here are some quick tips for maintaining good hygiene in the context of sexual contact:

Shower Power: Taking a shower before intimate moments can help you feel fresh and clean. Pay special attention to your genital area, using mild soap and warm water to avoid irritation.

Trim and Tidy: While it’s entirely up to personal preference, keeping the pubic hair neatly trimmed can help prevent the trapping of moisture and bacteria.

Hands-On Cleanliness: Your hands can play a crucial role in intimate moments. Wash them thoroughly before engaging in any activity to prevent the transfer of bacteria.

Protection Matters: When it comes to protecting yourself from STIs and unwanted pregnancies, the appropriate use of condoms or other barrier methods is essential. Don’t forget that proper hygiene should also be observed before and after using these protective measures.

    A Fresher, Healthier Intimacy

The lowdown on why hygiene is so incredibly important when it comes to sexual contact. Keeping things clean isn’t just about appearances; it’s about safeguarding your health and well-being, as well as creating a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for you and your partner. So, next time you’re getting ready to enjoy a romantic moment, remember that a little bit of cleanliness goes a long way.

    1. Turn the shower head to its most powerful setting.

    2. Pop a squat in the shower. This will give you the most surface area to clean.

    3. Rinse that arse, thoroughly. Don't be afraid of the sensation of the powerful jet of water going up your hole. It doesn't make you any less of a man.

    4. Lather up and clean that arse, thoroughly. Scrub, scrub, scrub.

    5. It's Ireland, most of us have a foreskin, be proud of it. You weren't mutilated at birth. But it does need cleaning. Pull it back and wash away all the debris/gunk. Use sensitive soaps/gels.

    6. Wash your balls too and the undercarriage.

    7. The rest of the cleaning should be straightforward. Armpits, your neck, behind the ears, in the ears, feet, everything else.

    8. Take your time. The lady isn't going to leave.

And ladies, how about you invest in some decent toiletries? Instead of being cheap and getting whatever Lynx shower gel is on clubcard offer in Tesco, go to Lush (A store in Cork and 2 in Dublin or you can buy online but going in the store is more fun) and buy a bottle of whatever shower gel smells the most appealing to you (Sticky Dates is lovely). Towel left after him by a punter. By no means is this a rare occurrence. For fuck's sake lads this isn't good.

Bring a washcloth with you, lather it up well and get it right up there, rinse repeat, rinse repeat, scrub a dub for the love of jaysis.
