    Default Well I’m only delighted!!!!

Have you seen the news, they have a guy in custody awaiting trial over the riots in the city centre last November.

This guy is from Rathmines and came into town in a balaclava and a baseball hat he was well well covered up, he wrecked a Garda car, wrecked a fire engine broke shopwindows, stole a till from Centra, was part of a group that attacked a lone Garda on O’Connell Bridge, hitting him with an iorn bar, basically a total scumbag who wrecked his own city,

The guards went through hundreds and hundreds of hours of CCTV footage, can you imagine how tough and taxing that would be to have to sit and stare at a screen and try and pick this guy out, But they were able to trace his movements into the town before he had covered up his face and they also had numerous witnesses I think that’s wonderful work and sends out a clear message that if you’re going to go into town balleyed up It doesn’t guaranteed that you’re going to get away with anything.

Of course he had the notorious free legal aid solicitor Yvonne Banbury with her bleedingheart stories, or he is a wonderful man a hard-working electrician he is a full-time carer for his mother and a great father for his son are you absolutely fucking joking me!!!!!!! Spare me!!!!!!

I know a lot of people here aren’t too fond of the Gardaí but I think that’s amazing work just very hard boring work to go through all that CCTV but it’s a results for this man who come in and wrecked his own sissy what an absolute fool, Absolutely no use to society can we not send him to Afghanistan or Siri how we can swap fuckers like him?!!

    Yes was reading that

Would you believe a girl who started work for me bragged about being involved in the riots in front of another staff member who told her she was terrified for her life that night. Needless to say her employment was terminated.

Gardai are only too happy to puck the heads off peaceful protesters whenever they get a chance, so I don't give a toss about what happened to them. But the looting disgusted me alright, and the idea that it was the "far-right" that was doing the looting is just risible. It was opportunist scumbags grabbing runners and iPhones, as always, and I'm sure this cap and balaclava wearing specimen was one of them.

They are damned if they do and damned if they don’t, and the so-called peaceful protesters are usually screaming abuse at them with a phone in their face, Causing them and then screaming abuse assault blah blah blah, it has got to be the most tankless job ever, you would want to be made of steel amount of abuse they are getting at is Paultext it’s not as if it’s the guards who are bringing in all these refugees.

There were protests in my hometown over in a hotel being used for Afghan man I had intended to go down to the hotel but then I saw on social media it was all the long-term unemployed wasters of the town screaming abuse at the guard screaming abuse at our lovely local councillor Who has done so so much for the town and was actually Mayor when Biden visited and did the most brilliant job of representing the town on the world stage and I just thought no way do I want to be associated with them even though I agreed with the protest

Gardaí are like many police forces the world over, the bad ones are wankers to the public and abuse their power giving the whole force a bad reputation and as a result the good ones get demoralized, with many quitting, meaning the scales tip ever more in favour of the bad eggs.
Unfortunately "the thin blue line" and the need to depend on one another means that too often even the good ones turn a blind eye to the behaviour of the bad ones rather than getting them hauled up on disciplinary charges or drummed out entirely if they can't keep to being honest and professional.

But yes media labelled "peaceful protesters" are often anything but, just depends on whether the journalists happen to agree with the protesters' politics, otherwise they are "far right, and although no one managed to get a photo of it we all saw them waving nazi flags and trying to resurrect Hitler with the blood of babies!".
Sadly the days of impartial reporting are long dead.
Violent protest by either side is not protest IMO it's just thuggery, if you cannot persuade others by words then resorting to terrorism, even low level stuff, really makes me doubt the virtue of your cause.

That element you describe really make my blood boil. And the stupid media are describing them as “far/hard right?”

I do think bringing back public humiliation such as a few days in the stocks with nearby vendors disposing of some of their "overripe" fruit and veg at a discount could help things.
Of course sad reality is they'd only end up suing everyone who threw stuff at them "for emotional turmoil" and getting an easy handout in the courts, even though that was the damned point of the punishment. And you couldn't be sure some of them wouldn't have sufficient scrote mates to linger around all day and threaten anyone who might consider throwing something, but at least while in the stocks they're not in a position to cause further trouble to the rest of society.

Punishment beatings is what we need... for the parents, once they feel consequences to their lack of interest in their childrens' upbringing I suspect they'll start to learn quite quickly how to keep an eye on them and ensure their precious Johnny doesn't go causing trouble. Instead we've had about 2 generations where not only are parents unashamed of their kids' bad behaviour but they'll get mad and threaten you if you dare mention it to them.

Actions need to have consequences or we drift into anarchy, and while there are those who think that sounds great it's usually because they've failed to realize that anarchy always evolves into might makes right, where the most aggressive and violent are free to do as they wish while the rest of us are only free to do (and keep in terms of property) what those people allow.
