you'd think that they'd learn from the Soviet Union or from The Balkans or from the pre WW1 Germany under Bismark. All empires (thast all the EU will be) fall apart and usually with poor consequences as in a war of some type. Mixing different races ,morals, politics etc on a mass scale is a very bad idea and someone usually ends up with the short end if the stick and get pissed off.
