What are some common misconceptions about the escorting profession?

Probably the amount of people that come on here looking for advice. They are usually just after registering, and probably spend half an hour trying to think of an innocent question and when they ask the question everyone on the forum gets the whiff.

What are some common misconceptions about the escorting profession?

That we are all miserable victims, that we need to be “saved”, that clients are dirty old men who “abuse” us . . .

Of course there is a dark side to the industry but I have never experienced it thank God. I love what I do, I pay my own bills work my own hours, I genuinely have the loveliest clients and meet some really interesting people with a really interesting jobs are really interesting life stories are really interesting travels, I have met Clients from all over the world and also some famous faces here in Ireland.

I am a typical contrary Irish woman and I would never ever tolerate disrespect but I honestly rarely encounter it! I can hand on heart say that the gentleman I meet our lovely and so respectful, and it is not just about the physical side at all, the chat the banter and sometimes the counselling session goes a long way for a client.

And as for clients being “dirty old men” I have a long-term client who I am absolutely crazy about, I genuinely get butterflies in my tummy every time his name pops up on my phone, I also have two or three other favourites and it’s never been about looks it’s just been about amazing sexual chemistry and the fact that we get along so well!!

I am definitely the very definition of happy hooker!! I also have no difficulty with the word prostitute or whore, I know some ladies would find this very offensive, but to me it just is what it is, it doesn’t bother me I work on my own terms and I choose who I see, I certainly don’t see any or every person who rings me I’m very strict with my screening process which is probably why I never have any difficulties!

As a client I enjoy the company of beautiful ladies.

To me its no different than going to a pub, restaurant, a football match or a concert. I enjoy it the lady enjoys it, she gets paid just like all other service providers. If I don't enjoy it, I won't go back to the same place just like I wouldn't go back to the same restaurant.

Oh I completely agree with this! The very odd time I would get abuse on my work Twitter it would always be from a female telling me to get an education.

I have TWO degrees, Got a good civil service job, was promoted twice, The banks threw money at me during the good Celtic Tiger years, Massive mortgage massive credit cards whatever I wanted, the banks be like take it there’s loads of it, I remember texting the credit union for a loan of 10 grand to get a car and I got a text back it would be in my account the next day, God it was really mad shit during the Celtic Tiger years recession hits and I will never EVER Forget the stress of getting a summons for repossession of my home and constant letters and phone calls from money I owed I couldn’t sleep I couldn’t eat it was just the worst stress ever I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. So that is where my education and my good job got me.

Got into escorting to save my house, and here I am, I’m on my own boss, my bills get paid without stress, I drive a brand-new car which I never had in my life or my so-called good job, I never miss family commitments due to work, And some of the women I have met in this job Irish Sara Bara, Dieve and Gina Bruni have absolutely blown me away with their level of intelligence, it’s such bullshit that we are just um educated morons.
