Oh I completely agree with this! The very odd time I would get abuse on my work Twitter it would always be from a female telling me to get an education.

I have TWO degrees, Got a good civil service job, was promoted twice, The banks threw money at me during the good Celtic Tiger years, Massive mortgage massive credit cards whatever I wanted, the banks be like take it there’s loads of it, I remember texting the credit union for a loan of 10 grand to get a car and I got a text back it would be in my account the next day, God it was really mad shit during the Celtic Tiger years recession hits and I will never EVER Forget the stress of getting a summons for repossession of my home and constant letters and phone calls from money I owed I couldn’t sleep I couldn’t eat it was just the worst stress ever I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. So that is where my education and my good job got me.

That is very kind of you, thank you and yes I agree that there is a huge difference between being Booksmart and life smart. I think I’m okay when it comes to dealing with people, I’ve always got along very well with everyone and this might sound crazy but I feel I can get a sense of a person and what they are like or if they are going through difficulties. But I will admit I can be quite old fashioned In some of my views and I really am working and being more open minded To things like non-binary or the situation with refugees et cetera.

For sure I have met some interesting ladies along the way- in the sense of intelligence and empathy- their own stories,

no one is one dimensional I suppose- I know a few of the ladies more than others- they are pretty normal I guess in their other lives or very talented in their private lives also,

a strong sense of independence they always carry I feel- many would make good councillors/ psychiatrists.
