Very unlikely. The idea that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute began 600 years after the birth of Christianity when Pope Gregory I made a previously unmade connection associating her to some other 'sinful' women mentioned in the new testament. This led many people to believe she was a repentant prostitute. Some disagreed with this idea, with Protestant churches in particular rejecting the idea as it wasn't founded in scripture. The Catholic Church promoted her as a symbol of a repentant sinner. In 1969, the Catholic Church changed its official stance on Mary Magdalene so she is no longer assumed to be one and the same as the sinful woman, however many people still think of her as a former prostitute because of stories and movies.
