Thread: EOTM Rules

    My thoughts :

If their was going to be a change in how the competition is ran , it should have been announced the month prior , clearly outlining the changes and the new judging criteria in a transparent and open manor.

I'm sure for most punters it's of little relevance , a nice added bonus if the lady you were planning to see had won the title at some point , it's reassuring to know you're going to see someone who puts that extra bit of effort into their work. But for some providers it's a big deal , they price themselves on trying to win , and it's good for business at the end of the day , extra exposure and a nice pat on the back for a month of hard work.

Having said that, from my understanding of the scoring system from feedback from the two undisputed champions of EoTM , Dieve and Alice whom I've had the pleasure of spending time with both, it's basically a numbers game , how many fresh reviews can you get from each month (and obviously the reviews need to be good) .

Now while that sounds fair enough I'm not opposed to a changing of the criteria , I dont necessarily think it should be a pure numbers game. As Dieve said earlier in the thread for some ladies this is just a supplementary part of their life , perhaps they only work 1 or 2 weeks out of the month , going against girls who are doing it full time , in a numbers based system , those ladies are never going to get the recognition they may deserve. So a freshening up of the judging criteria is not a bad thing imo to give more ladies a chance at winning who aren't going at it full throttle. But as I said it should have been discussed openly and plainly before hand so providers were aware , and not after the fact.

Having said that congratulations to this months EoTM I'm certain they were very deserving , and for the other ladies who perhaps might have won were it the old judging criteria I offer my commiserations, try not to be disappointed, not winning doesn't lessen your value, and I hope you get the clarity you need going forward to compete again and get that next title.

I don't really understand how it works but I was looking at most reviewed on Tuesday and Dora had 20 reviews followed by Dieve and Alice. Never even seen any reviews for yer one. I know repeat reviewers don't count. So I guess Dora Dieve and Alice most of had a lot repeaters. Anyway that said congratulations to this month's winner well done.

Well done Juliette. Its refreshing that she has won. Not taking away from the other Ladies that were thriving for the award. Must be doing something right. 🤔

First off, this is in no way meant to take away from the work put in by or service provided by our EotM winner Juliette. The reviews speak for themselves and they speak overwhelming positive. Congratulations are indeed in order.

I do, however, find it dismissive of the work put in by and service provided by other advertisers with a seemingly higher qualifying review count that a clear explanation of the EotM results has not been put forward by the site.

As per the understanding most have of the EotM scoring (and as evidenced by Barry's illustrations). It appears that both Dieve and Dora had a higher qualifying review count than Juliette. By my counting Luana28 also accrued more qualifying reviews than our eventual winner. I find the fact that no explanation has been put forward to be very disrespectful towards the aforementioned providers.

The end of month ranking as I see it is
    1 Dieve
    2 Dora
    3 Luana28
    4 TS Juliette

To my knowledge there would be no reason to exclude any visible, untainted reviews. If there were any improprieties, those reviews would be marked with a rat while the veracity of the review was under review (omitted from the count while under scrutiny) and then either deemed to be accurate (rat removed, review counted) or found to not be credible (review removed, review not counted {obviously}).

The lack of transparency and forthrightness from the community moderators on this topic is disheartening, to say the least, and does nothing but foster a sense of unease and mistrust towards the integrity of the EotM contest.

Without a clear and concise explanation of the methodology used to tabulate the EotM scoring, the mods leave the competing advertisers with no direction of how to compete properly and run the risk of disenfranchising those who once believed they were engaging in a fair competition.

At this rate we will be nearly a quarter into the new competition window (including the weekend) with no understanding of how the rules are to be applied and recent evidence that the seems to point towards rules being interpreted however the mods see fit at the time of EotM announcement.

I am usually not hyper critical of the moderation team and I do understand that it is a hard and thankless job, but this seems like a dereliction of duty. The advertisers (who pay into the site and keep this place profitable) deserve better.

This analysis and summation is simply quite brilliant and reflects my thoughts exactly about the flawed system laid bare here. Please apply for any position as a mod!!!

I like the imagination here, without being distasteful, (unlike some shitstirrers) - don't mind being called an Orc!!!

I do enjoy learning about the things I'm interested in and I did finish high school math, so I probably am overqualified to handle the EotM scoring...

Everyone seems to be assuming the results are manually tallied, and therefore shenanigans, whereas given it's a monthly task and they supposedly do have clearly defined rules then it may well be done automatically, e.g. via SQL script, and, IF the result was actually incorrect, it may be that the code needs tweaking.
