Everyone seems to be assuming the results are manually tallied, and therefore shenanigans, whereas given it's a monthly task and they supposedly do have clearly defined rules then it may well be done automatically, e.g. via SQL script, and, IF the result was actually incorrect, it may be that the code needs tweaking.
one of it's alter egos talking
you might row back on the application request if you are/made aware of the devious skullduggery on it
Flawed systems (it's auto calculated btw) / incorrect results... for me it's simple unless the mods confirm change of rule (which is doubtful) / otherwise
in the interest of health and safety / E-I War / to keep their own check mechanisms intact / to themselves
Escort of the Month Competition Rules:
Each month, www.escort-ireland.com will host the Escort of the Month Competition, a competition whereby each review an escort receives for the month will have a points value, and the escort with the highest points value at the end of the month will be declared the winner!
The winner of the Escort of the Month (EOTM) Competition will receive up to one month of free advertising (terms and conditions apply) and will receive extra exposure on the forums E-I. They will also be put into the EOTM 'Hall of Fame'
As with all competitions, there are rules to ensure that everything is fair:
- For each review submitted, a star ratings given for each area of the review will have a points value. The higher the outcome for each area selected, the more points that review will be worth. The escort with the highest points value by the end of the month will be declared the winner.
- The month that the escort is announced the winner will be the winner based on the points totalled from the previous month; i.e. 'Miss September' is calculated from the reviews submitted in August, and so on.
- Reviews will only count when a) the reviewer has held a message boards account for six months and b) their reviews will only be counted from their tenth review.
- If a client resubmits a review for an escort that they have already visited, only their first review will have a points value.
- If we believe that a review is fake, we may disqualify an escort from the competition for the month. If there are more serious cases of cheating, we may disqualify escorts from all future competitions.
- Escorts cannot win the competition two consecutive months. In the event of an escort receiving the highest points a second month in a row, the person in second place will take the winning spot.
- Once the winner has been announced for a particular month, any review points that are received for that month thereafter will not be will not be counted for that month.
and again just want to reiterate, escorts may/may not be aware of the fake/s based on the logic of my previous post

Indeed, and I laid out the standard operating procedure for resolving the confusion over how to determine unverified reviews (the rats). Identifying suspect reviews as such isn't just about the EotM. If the mods believe a review needs to receive more scrutiny, then potential clients using said reviews to inform their decision making of who to visit should also be made aware that there may be some concern over said review (hence the rat system).
You are suggesting that 3 unrelated, independent , established, well reviewed providers all received enough questionable reviews to allow a fourth, less established provider to jump them in scoring. Additionally, these tainted reviews (while suspect enough to disqualify advertisers from the competition) didn't raise to the severity of flagging them with a rat as to notify potential clients of possible concerns.
I actually didn't peg you as the type to be satisfied with a vague "trust us, we know what we're doing," answer from the backroom. You did such a good job illustrating the discrepancies in the scoring, but for this you don't want transparency in the procedure. You just except that things don't add up and without question land at In Mod we Trust? Interesting...
In the past Savannah or Lucky Lu or Floki would have addressed the Thread and that would be an end to all the speculation.
Roger must be on holiday again....
Are we there yet ?

like ensuring any fake reviews are reported and appropriately removed
reminded me of a conversation I had with a lady I meet from time to time about fake reviewers.
she would immediately have any removed from her profile to ensure sound etiquette/character and also out of respect for her colleagues. very admirable and a classy lady

Nope Patty Cakes, what I mean is, if an escort/profile has a fake review whether good/bad/indifferent, escort should report it as a fake
not either leave them on the profile or even worse ask for a review without an actual meet
but you wouldn't ever fall into the category, far too classy for that sort of skullduggery
