My preference is also for morning. These old bones are not as stiff and energy level higher. I also find that the ladies are more responsive, or is that me being an oldfool again?
If it is an evening meet I find my concentration at work is not good with my mind imagining how the meet will be.

Have pondered the same as obviously if my day is open I'd rather pick a time she's not likely to be busy so I'm not blocking her from other potential business, try avoid getting in anyone's way.
